From design to installation...
Every project is different and requires a specific solution. This is why we work on a case-by-case basis to design and install the electrical installation best-suited to your building and business. From design to implementation: everything is done to provide you with results that meet your expectations within your deadline and your budget.

Your electrical installation is the backbone of your building
Electricity is at the heart of everyday life. This means that it’s essential to define your power needs for today and tomorrow. We listen to your needs and provide advice to design electrical systems adapted to your business and lifestyle.

New construction, renovation and extension of existing installations
Every project is important, big or small. Azélec works with you throughout your new construction, renovation and electrical installation extension project.

Ensuring installation compliance
Make sure your electrical installation is safe!
You must ensure that your electrical installation meets the requirements of the Règlement Général sur les Installations Electriques (RGIE) (General Regulations for Electrical Installations) when you make a major change to your existing electrical installation, purchase a property or when a periodic inspection is carried out by an approved inspection body. Azélec can do the work required to ensure that your building’s electrical installation is fully compliant.

Earthing electrical installations
Earthing an electrical installation consists in connecting an earth rod or earth loop by means of a PE (protective earth) conductor wire to all the electrical circuits and metal masses present in buildings. This prevents any electrocution risk, thanks to the powering off of the electrical installation following the automatic cut-off of the differential switch when an insulation fault is detected.
What needs to be earthed:
- All the equipment of an electrical installation.
- All electrical circuits equipped with a PE conductor wire (green/yellow wire).
- The chassis grounds of ‘Class I’ equipment that has an earth terminal with the PE symbol.
- Primary equipotential bonding of buildings, i.e. all conductive elements such as metal structures and metal pipes for gas, water and heating.
- Supplementary equipotential bonding in bathrooms.

Upgrading your electricity meter
Power suited to your needs.
Your electrical consumption requirements have changed. You’ve installed additional electrical appliances or bought an older home and need to increase the capacity of the building’s electricity meter. We can provide a complete solution.

Electrical plans
The single-wire diagram consists of different symbols describing the various circuits and their connections.
The layout diagram is a plan showing the location of the electrical installation components described in the single-wire diagram. It includes the location of distribution panels, tee joints, power sockets, lights, switches and appliances. If you don’t have these documents, we suggest sending a technician on site to map out the electrical circuits of your existing installation to make drawings. Our drafter will create single-wire and layout diagrams of the installation using a software programme. Then, you will simply need to make an appointment with an inspector from an approved inspection body and provide them with the plans when they inspect your electrical installation.
